iKON is a South Korean boy group under YG Entertainment that debuted on September 15th 2015 with the single My Type. Their single release topped multiple Korean charts and the subsequent title tracks Rhythm Ta, Apology and Dumb & Dumber also were well received by the general public. The sucess of their debut earned them a rookie Grand Slam for best new artist/rookie of the year awards from multiple Asian awards shows.The group was first introduced as 'Team B' in their first reality survival show 'WIN: Who is Next?' (2013).After a year, the same group appeared in another reality survival show 'MIX & MATCH' (2014) which determined the group's final line-up of 7 members: B.I, Bobby, Jinhwan, Yunhyeong, Junhoe, Donghyuk and Chanwoo.The group went on to tour around Asia until their grand comeback with "Return" (2018) which title track Love Scenario broke decade old records and won Song of the Year from multiple awards shows.In June 2019, after the revelation of a past controversy, B.I announced his departure from the group and his contract was terminated by YGE - read more about B.I here.iKON continued to promote with six members and recently released an album 'iDECIDE' in February 2020.
